Part 1 - Valentine
The theme for my square this month is Crocuses. As I’m writing this, hail is clattering on the roof above me, and it couldn’t feel more like winter. But the first spikes of crocus leaves are appearing, which means spring is on the way.
This project is a wonderful way to use up bits and bobs of leftover yarn.
I’ve included leftover cream and green yarn from my Grandchildren’s Christmas Eve Wishes blankets. I used up some oddments of purples I found in an old project bag, and I played yarn chicken with the last bit of the very first hand-dyed yarn I bought.
