Fairly Fair Isle, in blue!
In the immortal words of Britney Spears, ‘Oops, I did it again!’
Fairly Fair Isle, mk 2, that is. Sometimes, when I finish a project, I feel compelled to instantly start making another one. While I was making the first version of this blanket (Fairly Fair Isle), I was imagining what it would look like in pretty cottagey colours. And here she is!
I used Scheepjes Colour Crafter Dk this time. If you haven’t tried Colour Crafter yet, I would really recommend giving it a go. It’s unbelievably soft.
I used:
Scheepjes Colour Crafter DK
3 x Zandvoort (Beige)
2 x Barnveld (Cream)
2 x Dokkum (Dk blue)
1 x Goes (Duck egg)
1 x Arnhem (Dk green)
1 x Nijmegen (Lt green)
1 x Tilburg (Dk pink)
1 x Den Bosch (Lt Pink)
Snufflebeanyarn has packs for both blanket colour ways in her shop here.
The pattern is identical to the first version, but it’s amazing how different they look in the two colour ways . I’ve made a completely separate pattern file for this version to make the colour changes simple to follow. When you buy the pattern you will be able to download both versions. You can find the pattern in my shop or click here:
